Performance poems inspired by Shostakovich's Symphony Number 10

After listening to Shostakovich's Scherzo from his Symphony No.10, Year 6 were inspired to write and perform poems. Just as Shostakovich was restricted by Stalin in his music, Y6 thought about what it would feel like to have restrictions placed on them when doing something they love. Here are a selection.

Year 6 get classical!

Today Year 6 went to the cinema to see a screening of the BBC's Ten Pieces Secondary.  The ten pieces of classical music were truly inspiring and we will be using them to get creative throughout this year.
